Database

As the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Law and Policy Research Working Group, we are creating a resource database to compile academic knowledge on the legal and political aspects of drone technologies and share it with researchers.

In this context, we are conducting a Zotero-based offline archive study where we bring together articles, reports, theses and official regulations published at national and international levels.

Our archive covers the following topics in particular:

  • The place of drones in international air law

  • Sovereign rights of states and use of airspace

  • Legal classification of civil and military UAVs

  • Data security, protection of privacy and surveillance regimes

  • BVLOS (beyond line of sight) operations and regulations

  • UAV policies in the European Union, the United States, Turkey and other regions

  • Ethical and legal issues regarding UAVs equipped with artificial intelligence

This literature archive, which we have created to contribute to researchers, is designed as a reference source that can be used in many areas from master's and doctoral studies to policy development processes.

Note: Our database is constantly updated and new articles and documents are added. If you have resources you would like to share, you can contact us.

You can access the database created within the scope of the project here.
